On the morning of November 10, Chairman Fu met Li Rui, Standing Committee member of CPC and Vice Chairman of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in Shenzhen. On November 6, the graduation ceremony for the 6th “Way of China Resources” Excellent Manager Training Session was held on Baiyangdian Campus of CR University. Fu Yuning, Chairman of the Group and President of CR University, attended the ceremony and gave lecture to the trainees.

On October 24, the 15th Western China International Fair and the 7th Western China International Cooperation Forum was opened in Chengdu, Sichuan. Vice Premier Ma Kai presided the opening ceremony with foreign guests and made a keynote speech titled “Furthering Reform and Innovation and Quicken the Transformation and Development".

October 17 is China's first Poverty-Relief Day. On the morning, the State Council held a national teleconference on social poverty relief work and a forum on social poverty relief work in the People's Hall. Wang Yang, Vice Premier of the State Council and head of the Leading Group of Poverty Alleviation and Development attended the meeting. Representative from CR, representing central enterprises, attended the conference and forum.

On October 13, a delegation headed by Chairman Fu Yuning and General Manager Qiao Shibo visited Xinjiang and met with Political Commissar Che Jun, and Commander Liu Qi of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) in Urumqi. The two parties had a conference on the comprehensive cooperation between the two parties in many fields and signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement.

On the afternoon of October 11, General Manager Qiao Shibo met with Deputy Governor Xu Kezhen of Hubei Province in Shenzhen and the two parties discussed issues related to the enhancement of the cooperation between the two parties. The two parties had a conference on further promotion of cooperation between the two parties.

On September 19, the 3rd China Charity Fair, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the SASAC, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, the Government of Guangdong Province, the Government of Shenzhen City and China Charity Federation, was held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center under the theme of “Charity for Social Progress”. China Resources Charity Foundation participated in the fair.

On September 3, the 6th “Way of China Resources” Excellent Manager training session was formally opened on Baiyangdian campus of the University of China Resources, with 129 trainees, executive directors of the classes and part of the leaders responsible for the classes attending.

Between September 9 and 10, Chairman Fu Yuning and General Manager Qiao Shibo visited Sichuan and met with CPC Secretary Wang Dongming and Deputy CPC Secretary and Governor Weihong of the province in Chengdu.
