Between September 9 and 10, Chairman Fu Yuning and General Manager Qiao Shibo visited Sichuan and met with CPC Secretary Wang Dongming and Deputy CPC Secretary and Governor Weihong of the province in Chengdu.

Wang outlined the economic and social development of Sichuan. He pointed out that Sichuan and CR enjoy a sound foundation for cooperation and Sichuan has great potentials for development and attractive prospects. He expressed his hope that CR will further increase its investment in the province with greater confidence and undertook that the CPC Committee and Government of the province will continue to provide a favorable environment for the development of enterprises in the province.

According to Chairman Fu, key business sectors of CR are mostly in line with the trends of the industrial development of Sichuan and CR is willing to engage in the reform and development of Sichuan by exerting its advantages for the purpose of mutual benefits.

During the meeting, the two parties fully exchanged opinions on facilitating the general layout of key projects in the province, promoting the practical cooperation between the two parties in the fields of power, urban development, clean energy resources, medicine, beer and beverage and retail businesses and establishing and promoting the communication and coordination mechanism. The two parties reached agreement on a large range of issues concerning the strategic cooperation between the two.

Also present at the meeting were representatives of Sichuan Province, including Chen Guangzhi (member and Secretary-General of the Standing CPC Committee of the province) and Deputy Governor Gan Lin and Liu Zhongbo (the Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau), leaders of the Group, including Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhu Jinkun and Li Fuzuo, as well as heads of the Directors' Office, CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceutical, CR Vanguard and CR Beer.

During their stay in Chengdu, Chairman Fu and General Manager Qiao also inspected the Mixc City of CR Land, a brewery of CR Snow Beer in Xindu District, Chengdu Urban Gas Co., Ltd., Ole, Blt, Fan2, Vivo and Pacific Coffee of CR Vanguard and talked with relevant management teams. On the evening of September 10, CR Enterprise and SABMiller co-hosted the Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of CR Snow Beer. Chairman Fu and General manager Qiao participated in the event with over 100 guests, mostly top management members of SABMiller and former major top leaders of Snow Beer over the past 20 years.
