On the afternoon of October 8, a delegation of the Group, headed Chairman Fu Yuning and General Manager Qiao Shibo, visited Guangzhou and was received by CPC Secretary Hu Chunhua and Governor Zhu Xiaodan of Guangdong Province. The two parties had a conference on further promotion of cooperation between the two parties.

Hu welcomed Chairman Fu and his party and thanked CR for its support for the social and economic development of Guangdong on behalf of the CPC Committee and Government of Guangdong Province. He mentioned that CR is an enterprise with robust competency and has cooperated with Guangdong Province for a long time. He commented highly on the development of CR businesses in Guangdong and the strategy for the future development in the region. He represented that the provincial CPC Committee and government will continue to support CR’s investment in the province for win-win achievements.

Chairman Fu briefed CR’s development in Zhujiang River Delta and the northwest of East Guangdong and his ideas for further cooperation in future. He expressed that CR's investment projects in Guangdong feature large scale and sound quality and have realized win-win benefits for both parties. He also expressed his hope that the two parties will continue to promote their cooperation in many fields and make greater contribution to the revitalization and development of the two regions mentioned above.

Also present at the meeting were representatives of Guangdong, including Lin Musheng (member and Secretary-General of the Standing CPC Committee of the province), Deputy Governor Zhao Yufang and heads of the General Office of Provincial CPC Committee, the Development and Reform Commission, the Economic and Information Technology Commission and the Department of Commerce, and leaders of the Group, including Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Wei Bin, Zhu Jinkun, Zhou Junqing, Zhou Longshan and Wu Xiangdong.

Before meeting with leaders of Guangdong Province, Chairman Fu and General Manager Qiao inspected the operation and management of the 2×30,0000 KW coal-fired cogeneration units of Guagnzhou Thermal Power Co. Ltd., listened to work report of South Branch of CR Power and talked with the management team members of the Company. Chairman Fu expressed positive opinions on the business management, environment protection and improvement of South Branch of CR Power and offer some guidance opinions on the future work of the Company.
