On July 18, CR power released its Social Responsibility Report for 2013. This is the fourth sustainable development report released by CR power. The report makes a complete disclosure of CR work on the social responsibility in 2013. According to the Guidelines on Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting for Chinese Enterprises (CASS - CSR3.0) and the Ratings Criteria of Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting for Chinese Enterprises (2014), the Research Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, Economics Division, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has made a comprehensive appraisal on CR power’s performance and the process, substantiality, balance, comparability, readability, creativity of the report, and highly approved the CR power’s social responsibility work and rated the report “4 stars (excellence)”. This is the first time the sustainable development report of CR power participated in the evaluation by domestic authoritative and professional institutions. CR power would take this chance to continually improve the compilation of sustainable development report, promote the practical work and the corporate responsibility management, further improving the corporate Identity and brand.

During compilation, the 2013 report increased the disclosure of the key issues in the power production industry such as “guarantee the power supply”, “safe production”, “develop green power”, “develop circular economy”, “save resource and energy”, “reduce pollution and emission”, “the factory and surrounding environment management” etc. The report never gets around the problems and discloses negative data information such as “production safety accidents”, “human casualty accidents” and “unplanned outage” etc.; besides, the report also discloses the historic data in the past three years on 53 key performance as “operating capacity”, “profit on operation”, “total investment in staff training” and “smoke emission ratio” etc. This could increase the comparability of report information and complete the content index; the framework of the report is clear and various forms of expression such as graphs, tables and flow charts are adopted with graphic design of industrial characteristics inserted, which has improved the readability of the report. With the special subject “10 years responsibility fulfilled” as the opening, the report introduces the overall perspective of the performance of CR power social responsibility, so as to help each interested party to understand the course of CR power to fulfill its responsibilities.
