China Resources Microelectronics and China Resources Cement convened a forum in the afternoon of 13 July in Shenzhen. They exchanged views on smart cement manufacturing. Key people of the Group including Wang Yin and Zhou Longshan attended the forum.

The participants held in-depth discussions about the developments in smart manufacturing in the cement industry, about the state of China Resources Cement's smart manufacturing, and about proposals to increase the manufacturing capabilities of China Resources Cement. After having clarified all the details, the two parties reached a consensus about strengthening cooperation in a number of areas of China Resources Cement smart manufacturing, such as equipment management, quality management, remote monitoring and resources management. In addition, the two parties jointly prepared for the establishment of a China Resources Cement smart manufacturing work team.

In the morning of July 15, Vice Chairman Wang Yin visited China Resources Cement Technology Research and Development Center (“Center”) in Guangzhou for in-depth research. Vice Chairman Wang gained a thorough understanding of the functions of the facilities, the rationale underneath the experiments and the processes in the laboratory, where he was also shown the porous concrete experiment. Vice Chairman Wang listened attentively to the center's development plan, as well as to the new products being researched and developed . He encouraged R&D personnel to study intensively and with great concentration and strive forward. He wished the Center could introduce more market-oriented products that can drive the sustainable development of the China Resources Cement.
