On 27 October, Platts released the 2015 Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings, in which CR Power ranked 75th, 3rd among independent global power suppliers and energy traders, and 3rd in the Asia Pacific region. This is the 9th consecutive year in which CR has been selected as a “Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company”, and its ranking among energy enterprises in the Asia Pacific region has risen from 21st in 2014 to 19th, entering the Top 20 Energy Company Ranking in Asia Pacific for the first time.
Platts is a world-leading information provider on energy, petrochemical, metal and agricultural industries. Its Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings are compiled based on the assets, revenue, profits, and returns on invested capital (ROIC) of different companies in the previous financial year. Selected enterprises are all listed companies with assets exceeding US$5 billion. There are 32 enterprises from mainland China and the Hong Kong region that have made the Top 250 Rankings this year, among which, 15 are independent power suppliers and energy traders.
