On 11 September, the press conference on the signing of a strategic agreement between CR Land and Eslite Spectrum Corporation (Eslite) cum Shenzhen Regional Product Launch was held at the CR Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre. Founder of Taiwan’s Eslite Group Robert Wu Ching-yu, Vice Chairman of Eslite Group and General Manager of Eslite Spectrum Corporation Mercy Wu, Shenzhen Nanshan District Mayor Wang Qiang, related persons in charge and partners of CR Land, new and existing customers, as well as related media representatives attended the press conference.
During the press conference, Robert Wu delivered the keynote speech on “City, Bookstore, and Humanities Space”. He said that bookstores are the soul of a city, not only representing a place where the urban population converge, a place for external activities, but also reflecting its spiritual qualities. Shenzhen is a diversified, fast-growing, young city. Now that Eslite is coming to Shenzhen, he hopes that Eslite can share its experience and looks forward to jointly creating an urban cultural and lifestyle space with distinct local flavors with the people in Shenzhen.

The strategic agreement between CR Land and Taiwan’s Eslite symbolizes the official establishment of a strategic partnership between CR Land and Eslite. Not only is this a recognition of CR Land’s leadership position within the industry, it also represents the opening of the third Eslite store in mainland China, the first outlet in the South China region that is part of the Shenzhen Nanshan MIXc project, and the addition of an iconic cultural exchange platform for facilitating cross-strait inter-city cooperation and development in the cultural arena.
