On December 20, the Seminar on Green Development of China Electricity Industry and the awarding ceremony for the “Beautiful Power Plants of China” were held concurrently in Beijing. The list of 100 power plants winning the title and lists of winners of awards in recognition of their work in the ecology protection, environment protection, culture, social harmony, safety, innovation and technology were announced. Also announced at the conference was the result of the evaluation for the photography contest concluded prior to the conference. CR Power (Shouyangshan) Co., Ltd., CR Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Tongshan CR Power Co., Ltd., CR Power (Hunan) Co., Ltd., CR GCL (Beijing) Thermal Power Co., Ltd., Guangzhou CR Thermal Power Co., Ltd. and CR Wind Power (Jianping) Co., Ltd. were granted the title “Beautiful Power Plant in China” and CR Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. was also granted the title of “Power Plant with Beautiful Culture”. Four photographic entries for the “Beautiful Power Plants in China” Contest submitted by CR Power won awards in the contest.

Through actively participating in the large-scale campaign of looking for "Beautiful Power Plant in China", the subsidiaries of CR Power displayed the ecological concept of respecting, agreeing with and protecting nature under the guideline of “Beautiful China”, CR Power members’ love for life and dedication for their posts and the healthy status of modern power plants and modern electrical workers.

It is reported that this event was sponsored by the China Energy Daily and the winning power plants and photographic works were selected by the organizing committee and experts based on their comprehensive review of about 400 power plants of various types and more than 3,000 photographic works.
