On October 29, Platts published the list of Top 250 Platts Global Energy Companies 2013, in which CR Power was listed for a seventh time in seven consecutive years, with its ranking rising from 134th in 2012 to the 100th. CR is ranked 4th among independent power producers and energy traders in the world and 4th in Asia.

Platts has released annual lists of energy enterprises in the world, measured mainly by the assets, business income, profit and ROI, with the candidates being listed companies with total assets of more than $5 billion. In all, 28 enterprises from China (including Taiwan) were listed among the top 250.
