Between October 6 and 9, Typhoon Fitow caused a once-in-100-year catastrophic flood to Yuyao, Ningbo, leaving a huge population suffering. After the flood, CR Vanguard and CR Land contacted the local government in the first time for rescue and donation activities.

On October 10, CR Vanguard donated $150,000 worth of relief supplies, including 4,000 boxes of pure water (96,000 bottles), 1,000 packages of instant noodles (12,000 bags), which were sent to the relief center in Yuyao. Meanwhile, six CR Vanguard stores in Yuyao provided power supplies for the residents to recharge their mobile phones and keep in contact with the outside world.

CR Land (Greater Shanghai) purchased and shipped 1,000 packages of instant noodles and 2,000 boxes of C'estbon pure water to Yuyao to support the local government's relief efforts.
