September 13, the 100th library built with donations from CR Beverage was completed in Nahuo Middle School, Dianbai County, Guangdong Province. About 300 people, including leaders of the municipal government of Maoming and CR Beverage, teachers and students of Nahuo Middle School and volunteers from Shenzhen attended the inauguration ceremony.
It is reported that CR Beverage launched the One Hundred Love Libraries Program in 2007, with the view of donating libraries for primary and middle schools short of educational resources. In the seven years, CR Beverage has completed 105 CR C’estbon Libraries in poor areas in 11 provinces, including Guangdong, Hunan and Jiangsu, housing about 730,000 books donated. To facilitate the Program, CR Beverage launched a campaign of “donating one book for a free bottle of C’estbon pure water", encouraging the public to donate their books to schools in poor areas. An online book donation mode was started to further increase the scale of the campaign. C’estbon volunteers were organized to participate in the library construction and maintenance work in poor areas and communicate with children in those areas. Statistics show that between last June and August, CR Beverage organized over 1500 offline book donation activities in 15 cities across China, involving about 700,000 people and collecting approximately 310,000 copies of books, which was the milestone goal of current stage of the Program.
In recent years, while maintaining a rapid growth rate, CR Beverage has been performing its social responsibilities. CR Beverage will further its One Hundred Libraries Program to new goals, building 200, 300 and perhaps even 1,000 libraries, and perform its corporate social responsibilities in a greater scope to reward the public.
