China is one of the nations in the world with the largest aged population that is growing at an accelerating rate. Since 1999 when China was considered as entering the era of the aged, the aging has been a challenge confronting China. The health of the aged does not only impact the quality of life of the aged but also the happiness of their families, the social stability of China and the sustainable development of the national economy.
