On June 17, an inspection group, headed by Li Kang, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, inspected Hezhou CR Cycling Economy Demonstration Zone in the company of Zhao Deming, Secretary of the CPC Committee, and Pan Zhijin, Deputy Mayor of Hezhou City.

Li Kang and his party first visited the production site of CR Power (Hezhou) Co. Ltd., where they learned about the operation of the generation units. Li spoke highly of the environmental protection facilities for efficient dust treatment and desulfurization and denitration and pointed out that the two million supercritical coal-fired generating units with a total capacity of one million KW helped spur the economic development of Guidong region of Guangxi.

Li also visited the Circular Economy Exhibition Center of the Demonstration Zone, where he studied the corporate culture, development and cooperation of diversified industrial sectors of CR. According to Li, following the sustainable development mode under the guidelines of “reducing the quantity-based assessment, focusing on recycling and resource-based development”, CR has set a healthy model for the industrial development of Guangxi, and the development mode developed by CR and Guangxi through the government-enterprise cooperation and industrial coordination has laid a blue print for the development of circular economy.

During the inspection, the inspecting group organized a conference at Hezhou Power Plant at which the economic operations and developments of key projects were reported on.
