Platts recently published the list of Platts Global Energy Companies for 2012, in which CR Power has been listed for six consecutive years, with its position promoted from the 149th in 2011 to the 134th. CR is ranked the 5th among global independent power producers and energy traders and the 4th in Asia. It is also ranked the 10th among Top 50 Fastest-growing Energy Companies in the World with its three year compound growth rate of 42.4%.

It is reported that in Platts Top 250 Global Energy Companies for 2012 were elected in terms of assets, operational income, profit and return rate. All the elected enterprises are publicly listed ones with a total asset over US$ 4 billion. In 2012, 23 Chinese enterprises were listed, outdid Canada and Japan for the first time and made China the nation with the second largest number of enterprises listed, next only to USA.
