On October 27, Mr. Gao Dongsheng, Deputy Director of the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Division of the Ministry of Industry Information Technology, and Mr. Bi Zhijian, Inspector from the Economy and Information Commission of Guangdong Province inspected the headquarters of CR Cement. 

Mr. Gao listened to reports from CR Cement on the energy conservation and emission reduction and spoke highly of achievements of CR Cement in terms of recycling economy, energy conservation and comprehensive utilization of resources. He pointed out that the Steel Cycling Economy Industrial Park of Fangchenggang jointly developed by CR and WISCO is of significant promotional and referential values. The ERCU Division of the MIIT will provide substantial support for CR Cement to implement cycling economy and realize cross-industry and cross-field development. According to him, energy conservation, environment protection and green development are the trend of cement industry, the ERCU Division of the MIIT will actively help smooth away difficulties CR Cement will meet in urban waste disposal projects, to promote the experience of CR Cement. He expressed his hope that CR Cement will take the lead in the industry as a central enterprise and set a model in the transformation and healthy development of the cement industry of China.

After the meeting, Mr. Zhou Junqing, Deputy General Manager of the Group hosted a banquet in honor of Mr. Gao.
