From 19 to 21 September, Wang Xiangming, Chairman of China Resources Group (“CR Group” or “The Group”), led a delegation to Thailand for a business visit and research. They delved into understanding the operations of the Group's subsidiaries in Thailand, conducted market research, and discussed seeking higher levels of mutually beneficial cooperation with partners and business institutions, achieving fruitful outcomes from the visit.
During their time in Thailand, Chairman Wang Xiangming listened to work reports from All Seasons Property and the Group’s Southeast Asia Development Representative Office. He conducted on-site research on the All Seasons Place complex project, gaining a detailed understanding of the project’s operations and future development plans. Chairman Wang Xiangming pointed out that Thailand is strategically located in the “Belt and Road” initiative, holding significant importance in the Group’s internationalization strategy. The Group should fully leverage the unique advantages of All Seasons Property and the Southeast Asia Development Representative Office, steadily advancing the Group’s international business development in Southeast Asia. Subsequently, Chairman Wang and his team also attended the opening ceremony of the CR Power Thailand Representative Office.
During the visit, Chairman Wang Xiangming and his team also met with the Chief Representative of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council for Southeast Asia and South Asia, as well as senior executives from M. Thai Group and Chia Tai Group. They introduced CR’s overall development and internationalization strategy, explored potential cooperation opportunities around the development prospects of China and Thailand, had in-depth discussions about enhancing cooperation, and conducted on-site research at a commercial complex in Bangkok under the Chia Tai Group. Additionally, the delegation specifically visited the Minister Wu Zhiwu (Deputy Chief of Mission) at the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in The Kingdom of Thailand to understand the political, business, and investment environment in Thailand; exchanged views on the development of CR's relevant businesses in Thailand; and sought advice on various matters.
