China Resources University Innovation Competition and Graduation Ceremony of CRC Ways No. 10 Training Class were held at the university’s Xiaojingwan campus. Fu Yuning, chairman of China Resources Group and president of China Resources University, attended the ceremony and gave a lecture. The event was also attended by group leaders Ma Lu, Chen Lang, Du Wenmin, Wang Chuandong, Wei Bin, Zhou Longshan, Wang Peihui, as well as heads of SBU professional colleges, heads of human resources, heads of training, heads of CR Land China Resources University project, representatives of Fosters and Partners, experts from China Resources University Innovation Experts Bank and representatives from partner institutions and universities such as Deloitte, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen.

President Fu Yuning hosted a learning track around “Study prompts China Resources growth”. Incorporating the development history of China Resources Group, Fu reaffirmed the importance of study for both the enterprise and the individual. He said only through continuous study, summary and self-improvement can an institution grow stronger and remain sustainable competitiveness, productivity and activeness. When talking about his expectations for China Resources University, Fu said the university will develop into a professional business education institution, an open innovation and business incubation platform that works both for China Resources Group and the whole society.

This China Resources University Innovation Competition was organized by the China Resources Group Innovation Development and Intellectual Property Rights Committee, Group Human Resources Department, China Resources University, CR Capital,CR Accelerator, Deloitte Growth Academy, Research Institute of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen, and Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen. The innovation competition consisted of project road show, innovation market project display and innovation and industry docking. A total of seven internal innovation programs entered the finale and 10 outside projects were displayed onsite.

Chen Lang,CR’s Deputy Managing Director and director of Innovation Development and Intellectual Property Rights Committee and the head of CR Capital briefed the attendees on the group’s guiding work in innovation and intellectual property rights, and the group’s innovation fund and its reserve for specific projects. Deloitte China’s CEO Zeng Shunfu, and Associate Vice President of Hong Kong University Science & Technology Prof. Wu Enbo, both as China Resources University innovation partners, delivered speeches at the seminar and expressed hopes to jointly explore new innovations.

At the graduation ceremony, President Fu Yuning and other group leaders conferred graduation certificates to 95 students of CRC Ways No. 10 Training Class and presented awards to individuals and team winners. The leaders also conferred awards to China Resources University year 2015 outstanding colleges, outstanding lecturers and outstanding courses, and acknowledged the excellent performance of individuals and teams who are 2016 Stars of the Future new staff training camp gold, silver and bronze winners. After the ceremony, President Fu Yuning conferred university red brick souvenirs to representatives of Fosters and Partners and CR Land China Resources University project in recognition of their contribution to the construction of the university campus.
