Group General Manager Luo Xi meets with Mitsui &Co.CEO Tatsuo Yasunaga

Mitsui& Co.’s CEO Tatsuo Yasunaga and executive director Kanamori Takeshi and Mitsui & Co.(Hong Kong)’s chairman Soichi Nishimura visited China Resources Group headquarters in Hong Kong. Group general manager Luo Xi met with Tatsuo Yasunaga and his colleagues. The two sides held friendly exchanges on their joint electric power projects and proposed overseas business cooperation and expansion.

General manager Luo welcomed Tatsuo Yasunaga and his colleagues and expressed thanks to Mitsui& Co. for their support of deepening bilateral cooperation. Luo briefed the Japanese visitors on the development status and prospects of their joint venture project CR Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. Tatsuo Yasunaga said under the current rigid outside pressures for thermal power projects Hezhou project has overcame numerous difficulties and achieved safe and steady business operation. The Japanese shareholder side expressed gratitude to China Resources Group and CR Power for their concerted unremitting efforts.

General manager Luo said Mitsui & Co. is a famous and comprehensive Japanese conglomerate with rich overseas investment and management experiences while China Resources Group is a large diversified Chinese holding company that owns multiple profit centers. China Resources Group would like to build stronger ties with Mitsui& Co., based on current cooperation, to jointly seek high quality projects, further expand and deepen cooperation, explore new business opportunities and cooperation in a variety of areas including domestic high end retail consumer products trade, overseas power project investment, urban gas supply and gas pipeline management, and healthcare and medical equipment, so as to complement each other and give full play to both sides’ advantages to achieve win-win success.
