On September 27, Group chairman Fu Yuning met with visiting deputy governor of Hunan Province Zhang Jianfei and his entourages at the group’s Hong Kong headquarters. The two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in various areas and reached a high degree of consensus.
Chairman Fu Yuning greeted deputy governor Zhang Jianfei and his colleagues with warm welcome remarks and introduced China Resources Group’s investments in Hunan Province and its plan for next steps. Chairman Fu said the Hunan Provincial Government and China Resources Group signed off the framework cooperation agreement in Hong Kong last June. Since then both parties have made great progresses in their cooperation on investment. The two sides vowed to be focusing on industries closely linked to people’s livelihood, while breaking new grounds and expanding the cooperation to new areas, thus making new contributions to Hunan’s economic development and its people’s livelihood during the 13th Five Year Plan period.
Deputy governor Zhang Jianfei expressed thanks to China Resources Group’s sustained and steadfast investment in Hunan Province, and said Hunan is now proactively upgrading the industry park planning, industry development, infrastructure and management service, speeding the drive for better quality and higher efficiency, and facilitating the fusion and development of new industrialization and new urbanization. He hoped China Resources Group make greater investments in Hunan and strengthen investment cooperation in the industrial sectors. Meanwhile he promised Hunan Provincial Government will create conducive and business friendly environment, enthusiastically push forward project construction for a win-win success.
Deputy governor Zhang Jianfei’s entourages consisted of Xiong Fangping, deputy secretary general of Hunan Provincial Government, senior officials of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, Overseas Chinese Office, Department of Finance, and top officials from Hunan’s Shaoyang and Huaihua cities. The meeting attendees also included group deputy general manager Zhou Junqing, representatives of the Group’s Board of Directors Office, CR Land and CR Gas.
