From Sept. 2 to Sept. 4, Group Chairman Fu Yuning attended the G20 summit in Hangzhou, and met with Che Jun, the Acting Governor of Zhejiang Province and visited group subsidiary companies in Zhejiang during the summit intervals.
During the meeting, Chairman Fu expressed his thanks to the concerted care and support that Zhejiang CPC Committee and Provincial Government had given to China Resources Group, and updated Che Jun, the Acting Governor on China Resources Group’s business developments, industrial advantages and its strategic plan during the 13th Five Year Plan period (2016-2020). Chairman Fu hoped that Group’s proposed business expansions be implemented in Zhejiang as soon as possible.
Governor Che extended his warm welcome to Chairman Fu and his colleagues and then introduced Zhejiang’s experience and practices of constructing small towns with unique charms. He called upon China Resources Group to leverage on its own industry advantages to invest in more areas in Zhejiang and jointly construct small towns with unique charms, meanwhile he promised Zhejiang Government would give full support to China Resources Group’s developments in the East China province.
In Hangzhou, Chairman Fu Yuning held talks with heads of China Resources Group’s subsidiary companies in Zhejiang. Fu checked the details of business operation and current difficulty of these companies in the first half of this year, showed his appreciation for the results achieved and provided guides for next step work. In order to have first-hand knowledge of their business operations, Chairman Fu inspected Hangzhou Mix City Mall, Park Hyatt Hangzhou and Vanguard Supermarket, checking their business developments, talking to frontline staff, encouraging them to work out smart ways to steer steadfast in the complicated and challenging market and better cater to market demands. He also informed his Hangzhou colleagues to grasp the historical opportunities endowed by the G20 Summit to showcase the good corporate image of China Resources Group to visitors from home and abroad.
