On the afternoon of 24 August, China Resources Group Chairman Fu Yuning met with visiting guests Yang Jie, Chairman of China Telecom Group and Yang Xiaowei, General Manager of China Telecom Group at CR’s Headquarter in Hong Kong.

Chairman Fu Yuning extended his warm welcome to Chairman Yang Jie and his team upon their arrival. Fu introduced that China Resources business covers industry sectors including consumer products, real estate, gas and financial etc., which are all closely related to consumers’ daily life, hence highly complementing to China Telecom’s business through mutual cooperation. Fu hoped both sides, based on existing cooperation, give full play to their respective resource and business advantages to further strengthen their extensive cooperation in the journey of their informationization construction.

Chairman Yang Jie introduced the latest developments in China Telecom’s business innovations, and expressed his appreciation to China Resources Group for its concerted business support to China Telecom. He hoped both sides further explore more cooperation opportunities so as to integrate new information technology with China Resources organic business operations by leveraging China Telecom’s established intelligent network and eco-business to strengthen in-depth cooperation with China Resources Group.

Attendants to the meeting from China Telecom delegation included China Telecom’s Deputy General Manager Gao Tongqing, its group department heads and heads of its Guangdong branch company.

Wang Peihui, Chief Technology Officer of the Group, along with representatives from China Resources’s Office of Board of Directors, business leads from CR Vanguard and CR Land also joined the meeting.
