China Resources Participates in the 4th China-South Asia Expo & the 24th China Kunming Import and Export Fair

The 4th China-South Asia Expo (the "CSA-Expo") & the 24th China Kunming Import and Export Fair opened in the Kunming Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center on June 12. Wang Yang, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice-Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony and gave a keynote speech. The Speaker of the People's Majlis of the Maldives Abdulla Maseeh Mohamed, Nepal's Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, and Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung attended the opening ceremony. China Resources Group participated in the 4th China-South Asia Expo, and Zhu Jinkun, deputy general manager of the Group, attended the opening ceremony on behalf of China Resources.

Located in Pavilion No. 2, China Resources' exhibition booth had a simple and beautiful design, with distinctive characteristics. Using of combination of pictures, texts, multi-media and models, it displayed the full development history of China Resources, its corporate social responsibilities, business profile and investment projects in Yunnan. The Group also set up a special model featuring the China Resources Town of Hope in Baise, which drew in a great many visitors with a lot of questions. "Happy Run (嗨皮润)", the WeChat mascot of the Group, made its début at the CSA-Expo, resulting in lots of photo snapping. During the exhibition period, China Resources attended relevant contract-signing activities. China Resources Gas, China Resources Cement, China Resources Land, China Resources Healthcare and China Resources Power all signed contracts for projects.

The Maldives formed the theme of the 4th CSA-Expo, and Vietnam was the guest of honor. 89 countries and regions from Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Oceania attended the Expo and the Fair; 29 provinces, directly administered municipalities, autonomous and special administrative regions in China attended the Expo and the Fair; and about 5,000 companies attended the Expo, of which around half were foreign companies. The 4th CSA-Expo had more distinctive exhibition characteristics, with the number of pavilions rising to 18 from 13 in the last expo and the area of exhibition increasing to 180,000 square meters from 130,000 square meters in the last expo. It had 8,000 exhibition booths, the highest number ever.
