Mr. Luo went to the China Resources circular economy demonstration area in Hezhou, in Fuchuan County in the afternoon of June 1, to conduct a site visit at the production sites of three companies in the demonstration area — cement, power and beer companies. He sat down to talk with the management teams of the three companies, listened to their work reports on project operations management, operating performance and innovative development. Mr. Luo approved of the three companies’ achievement in improving quality, enhancing efficiency, environmental protection, and energy conservation. After objectively analyzing the internal and external operating environment of the circular economy park, Mr. Luo pointed out that in order to develop the park, it was necessary to develop the business. He expressed the hope that the units in the park could work with local governments and big enterprises in providing integrated energy services and in attracting investment in order to expand the circular economic chain and continuously improve the park's overall competitiveness — on the basis of market forces and of tighter internal coordination.

Mr. Luo participated in the organization life (expanded) meeting at the grassroots-level communication site of Hezhou power plant in the demonstration area in the morning of June 2. Mr. Luo first listened to reports about exploration and practices of the company's special educational topic of "Learning two, doing one", and to five outstanding representatives of the Company sharing ideas during work. He then gave a keynote speech in which he spoke highly of the practices and achievements of the Hezhou power plant on studying the educational topic of "Learning two, doing one" by realizing it in practical situations. He also praised the spirit of contribution of the company's cadres and employees as reflected in their relief efforts during the May 20 flooding in Hezhou. Mr. Luo hoped all the employees could combine study with practice, implementing the spirit in actions, insist on doing practical things and on doing good things, and continuously make efforts to build China Resources into a powerful, strong, big, excellent and long-lasting company.

Mr. Luo visited Tang Renjian, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Autonomous Region Communist Party and vice chairman of Guangxi Autonomous Region, as well as other leaders at Liyuan Villa, Nanning in the afternoon of June 2. He hoped the two sides would remain actively engaged with each other, further expand the depth of their cooperation, seamlessly link up the relevant industries in the major planning for Guangxi in the 13th FYP, and accelerate the launch of projects that are set to be rolled out or are under construction. Mr. Luo expressed gratitude to the government of the Autonomous Region for years of care and support and said that China Resources had invested heavily in a number of industries in Guangxi, achieving good cooperation results. China Resources is fully confident about the future development of the autonomous region and will continue to ramp up investments to contribute to Guangxi's social and economic development. The two parties discussed the Hezhou China Resources circular economy industry demonstration area and the development of the gas, beverage and food businesses.
