Chairman Fu Yuning attended the "2016 Sichuan Tour for Domestically and Internationally Renowned Enterprises" held in Chengdu between April 11 and April 12, at the invitation of the Sichuan provincial government. He met with provincial and municipal government officials such as Yin Li, Governor of Sichuan Province, Liu Chengming, Secretary of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, as well as Bao Hui, Secretary of Dazhou Municipal Committee. Chairman Fu also had friendly discussions with the officials on the stepping up of investment cooperation, followed by a visit to Dongfang Electric Corporation. Thereafter, Mr. Fu left for Ya'an where he conducted site visits from April 13 to April 14 at CR Sanjiu (Ya'an) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Sichuan NG Fung Li Hong Food Co., Ltd. There, he met local government officials such as Ye Zhuang, Deputy Governor of Sichuan Province and Ye Zhuang, Secretary of Ya'an Municipal Committee, and Lan Kaichi, Mayor of Ya'an City.
The theme of this year’s “Sichuan tour for Domestically and Internationally Renowned Enterprises” was "Open to Cooperation, Join Hands for Development". Wang Dongming, Secretary of Sichuan Provincial Committee, met Wang Wenbin, Vice Chairman of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), as well as top management of various state-owned enterprises on the afternoon of April 11. The following morning of April 12, the provincial government held the "2016 Domestically and Internationally Renowned Enterprises Investment Presentation and Cooperation Project Agreement Signing Ceremony”. Mr. Fu attended the aforementioned two activities.
On the afternoon of April 12, Group Chairman Fu Yuning visited Yin Li, Governor of Sichuan Province, whom he briefed on the Group's roadmap for its development in Sichuan Province. They conducted in-depth discussions on ways to actively deal with changes in market environment and consumption habits, and to strengthen product innovation and business model innovation in sectors such as big health, big consumption and energy. Governor Yin Li acknowledged the investment performance of China Resources' various business units in Sichuan province, and said he hoped that China Resources could continue to follow the province’s developments, as well as ramp up investments there to support the province’s transformation and economic development. He added that the provincial government will provide strong support to China Resources' development in Sichuan.
In the afternoon, Mr. Fu met with government officials such as Liu Chengming, Secretary of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and Bao Hui, Secretary of Dazhou Municipal Committee. He expressed gratitude for the local government’s assistance and support of China Resources’ investments. The two parties discussed cooperation in future projects, in the hopes of expediting cooperation in more developed areas. Prior to the meeting, China Resources Group and the Government of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture signed the “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement” in Chengdu on the morning of April 11.
Mr. Fu conducted an on-site business tour to CR Sanjiu (Ya'an) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd on April 13. Mr. Fu visited its pharmaceutical industrial park, Chinese medicinal herb farm, as well as its technology center, extraction center and the preparation center of the old production base. He also conducted a forum with the Company's management and staff representatives, to hear their thoughts and learn more about the market strategies and business development of CR Sanjiu (Ya'an). Mr. Fu expressed his appreciation of the Company's achievements in technology research, business development, talent management and corporate culture. He encouraged the staff to continue working with dedication, so as to drive the development of Ya'an Sanjiu and to contribute to the long-term development of China Resources.
Mr. Fu visited Hanyuan County of Ya'an City on April 14, where he conducted an on-site business tour at Sichuan NG Fung Li Hong Food Co., Ltd. He visited its Sichuan pepper oil production lines, research and testing center and packaging line, and held discussions with the company's management and local government officials. He expressed his appreciation of the Company's operations, and encouraged it to strengthen its management capacity while developing the condiment business, leveraging consumers’ rising health awareness to expedite the Company’s transformation and upgrade, and enhance its core competitiveness.
Wang Chuandong, Group Deputy General Manager, Wang Chuncheng, Group Assistant General Manager, and management of the Group’s various profit centers accompanied Mr. Fu at the aforementioned activities.
