Luo Xi, Group General Manager, Fu Jianhua, Deputy Governor of Shanxi Province, Ge Honglin, Chairman of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited attended the "Promotion Presentation of Huaxing Aluminum Project Phase II and Luliang Light-alloy Production Base Project" held at Luliang City in Shanxi Province on the morning of April 12. Mr. Luo went to Taiyuan City in the afternoon to attend a forum for the promotion of cooperation between Shanxi province, China Resources Group  and Aluminum Corporation of China Limited. The forum was chaired by Li Xiaopeng, Governor of Shanxi Province. The participants held in-depth discussions  on expediting the construction and execution of investment projects in the province. During his visit to Shanxi Province, Mr. Luo conducted on-site visits to the Group’s various business arms.

At the forum, Mr. Li expressed gratitude on behalf of the provincial party committee and the provincial government to China Resources Group and Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, for their long-time participation in Shanxi Province's economic development. He briefed them on the Province’s socioeconomic development. He said China Resources Group lays claim to diversified development and excellent performance, having invested in a number of projects in Shanxi Province and contributed greatly to the Province's economic and industrial development. The construction of the Luliang light-alloy base is a landmark project between Shanxi province, China Resources Group and Aluminum Corporation of China Limited. It carries significant meaning for the promotion of industrial transformation and upgrade, as well as for economic advancement. He said he hoped that China Resources Group and Aluminum Corporation of China Limited will further ramp up investments in the Shanxi Province and speed up the construction of the project. The government of Shanxi Province will continue to provide quality services and create an excellent investment environment for China Resources Group and Aluminum Corporation of China Limited.

Mr. Luo said the aim of his team's visit was to continue to strengthen cooperation between the Group and Shanxi Province. China Resources is engaged in a wide variety of sectors in Shanxi Province and plays an important role in promoting the transformation and development of the local economy. It will continue to contribute to Shanxi Province's economic development by leveraging its strengths in capital, management, technology and talent. Ge Honglin, Chairman of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, called for the continuation of the push to build the aluminum industry base in Daxing County, and for supporting resources such as aluminum mines.

Mr. Luo had held prior talks with the management team at the head office of China Resources' coal business unit to learn about its operations and strategic adjustments. He proposed requirements for subsequent work and said he hoped CR Coal and Aluminum Corporation of China CR could work together to increase utilization of the Companies’ existing assets. Mr. Luo also spoke to management of China Resources' various businesses units in Shanxi Province and encouraged the staff to stay committed to achieving even better performance.

Mr. Luo visited the CR center project in Taiyuan City on April 13 for an on-site tour. He learned about the project's development plan and progress, and held talks with the management of CR Taiyuan. He also provided guidance on strengthening marketing model innovation, attracting international brands and making the most of the products’ competitive advantages.

Zhou Junqing, Group Deputy General Manager, the Shanxi-based management of the Group’s Office of Board of Directors, as well as the Group’s relevant profit centers were present during the aforementioned activities.
