Group General Manager, Luo Xi, went on a field trip on 5-7 April, during which he visited the Southern China branch of China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd., Guangdong 999 Brain Hospital, China Resources Bank Guangzhou Branch, China Resources Cement School and R&D Center as well as Guangzhou Yuebao Cement Co. Ltd. Luo studied the operation and management at various business and production sites, and held discussions with the companies’ management and staff representatives.
At the Southern China branch of China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd., Luo studied the operation of production equipment, project management, profitability, cold-hot water quadruple supply and the construction of the EHS demonstration base at Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd.. As part of his understanding of power sales transactions, he inquired about the market development, trading mechanism, pricing and generated volume of the power sales company.
At Guangdong 999 Brain Hospital, Luo and his delegates visited the outpatient clinic, imaging center and epilepsy center, and had an exchange with medical staff regarding the diagnostic and treatment technology, patient care and hospital management. Luo commended the hospital for its achievements.
At China Resources Bank Guangzhou Branch, Luo visited the service hall, wealth management center, self-service section and other business facilities, and inquired about business data and the employees’ working conditions. He also gained some hands-on experience in the self-service section and online banking services.
At China Resources Cement, he asked for details about the talent training system, technical innovation approach and practices, cement production process and the company’s operations in Q1 2016.
During the field trip, Luo spoke highly of the business development at the Group’s power, cement and medical subsidiaries, and analyzed the overall situation facing various business segments based on the Group’s 13th Five-Year Plan development concept, business portfolio and development model. He proposed guiding opinions to further strengthen teambuilding, technical innovation, IT application, globalization, and production safety. He called on employees to work hard to improve quality and productivity and achieve sustainable development.
Heads of relevant business arms, representatives of the Office of the Board of Directors and the health and safety departments accompanied Luo during the field trip.
