At the afternoon of 31 March, Chairman Fu Yuning met in Shenzhen with Ye Zhuang, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province and Party Secretary of Ya’an. The two parties discussed the strengthening of the cooperation between China Resources and Ya’an.

Fu welcomed Vice Governor Ye, and thanked him for his continuous support for China Resources’ operation in Ya’an. He hoped to strengthen investment collaborations between China Resources and Sichuan combiningYa’an’s edge in natural resources with China Resources’ strength in industrial competitiveness.

Governor Ye thanked China Resources’ local subsidiaries for their contribution to the socio-economic development in Ya’an. He stressed that the expedition of the post-disaster reconstruction following the April 20 Lushan earthquake has fueled the city's organic economic growth. He hoped that China Resources could increase support for economic development in the city, and extend cooperation to other businesses – in addition to pharmaceutical and food products – to achieve a win-win situation for development.

Present at the meeting were Vice Mayor of Ya’an Wang Jialiang, the management of the city’s investment promotion bureau and economic and information technology committee, the management of the Group’s Office of Board of Directors and of China Resources Sanjiu Medical & Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. .
