On the morning of 30 March, Song Xibin, Deputy Secretary of Harbin Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Harbin City, visited China Resources. He was received by Group General Manager Luo Xi, and the two parties held discussions on deepening and expanding cooperation projects.

Luo welcomed Mayor Song and his delegates. He said Mayor Song’s multiple visits to China Resources have indicated the trust of the Harbin Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government in China Resources. He gave a brief presentation of the Group’s business operations, operational principles and business strategies. He expressed the hope of extending future cooperation to areas including pharmaceutical and retail, in addition to the existing real estate, gas and beer cooperation projects.

Mayor Song said that China Resources was an important partner for Harbin and that cooperation between the two parties had progressed smoothly in recent years and newer projects had been put on a fast track. He thanked China Resources for its support for economic development in the city. As a key player in Sino-Russian cooperation, Harbin is currently in the midst of the construction of a local integrated free trade zone which is bound to broaden the scope of cooperation between the two parties. He hoped that China Resources and Harbin could complete the existing cooperation projects and expedite the launch of new cooperation projects through collaborative efforts, achieving a win-win situation in the future.

The two parties also discussed details of cooperation in new business areas.

Present at the meeting were Member of Harbin Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Harbin City Qu Lei, the management of the General Office of the municipal government of Harbin and relevant district and municipal government, Office of the Board of Directors and management of China Resources Land, China Resources Gas and China Resources Beer.
