March 19 - Fu Yuning, Group Chairman, attended the "2016 China Development Forum" held at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. The forum was organized by the Development Research Center of the State Council and hosted by the China Development Research Foundation.

At the meeting Chairman Fu delivered a speech on the "Opening and Development of the Modern Service Industry". Chairman Fu pointed out that in 2015 the Chinese service industry attracted investment of US$77.2 billion, accounting for 61.1% of the total foreign investment. It is forecasted that by 2020 the service industry will grow to 55% of China's GDP. China's continuous economic development, its growing middle-class, aging population and wider application of Internet technology are driving the development of the modern service industry. Currently, the country has been gradually loosening restrictions in pilot cities on foreign investment in areas such as education, pension and the Internet of Things. China Resources welcomes domestic and foreign investors to join the Group in seizing opportunities for development in various industries such as pharmaceutical, medicine and finance.

During the Forum, Chairman Fu Yuning participated in the round table on "International Strategy on Investment Funds". Representatives from the Group's Office of the Board of Directors and the Strategy Department attended the meeting.
