The 8th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting in China”, organized among others by the China WTO Tribune, was held in Beijing on 3 December 2015. At the conference, the Golden Bee Corporate Social Responsibility Report Honor Ranking 2015 was announced. CR again received the top annual award – Leading Enterprise Award, outdoing 2,265 enterprises in social responsibility reporting.
The “Golden Bee Social Responsibility Report Honor Ranking” contest is one of the most influential and authoritative contests within the industry, comprising of three awards – Leading Enterprise Award, Growing Enterprise Award, and Evergreen Award. Each year, specialists of the association make their selection out of the social responsibility reports released in accordance with international standards. A total of 62 enterprises have received awards this time. The Leading Enterprise Award is given for reports that fully disclose the company’s philosophy, practice, achievements, and typical cases in fulfilling its social responsibility during the previous year; that fully reflect industry and corporate characteristics; and that offer a good reading experience. Over 300 representatives from domestic and overseas government organizations, enterprises, industry associations, research institutes, and news media participated in this conference, and a discussion was held focusing on key issues such as the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting and CSR strategies, experience and challenges in compiling, disseminating, and applying CSR reports, as well as disclosing information in such reports.
