In the morning of 8 December, Yang Yue, Fujian province Standing Committee member and Fuzhou Municipal Committee secretary, visited China Resources Group. Fu Yuning, Chairman of China Resources Group, met Party secretary Yang and his delegation. They conducted friendly exchanges on their thoughts on strengthening cooperation in the construction of the Fuzhou New District and the Fuzhou section of the Fujian Free Trade Area.

Chairman Fu welcomed Party secretary Yang and his delegation and expressed gratitude for supporting China Resources in its development in Fujian and Fuzhou. Heads of business segments of the Group briefly introduced business operations in Fuzhou as well as future development plans. Chairman Fu said he hoped that China Resources Group will further strengthen cooperation with Fuzhou in relevant fields and fully capitalize on China Resources Group' advantages to achieve good long-term development in Fuzhou and actively participate in the construction of the Fuzhou New District and the Fujian Free Trade Area to support Fuzhou's new round of development.

Party secretary Yang briefly introduced the social and economic development of Fuzhou as well as the city development and industry development plan of the Fuzhou New District. He said that China Resources Group has been actively pushing forward with its cooperation in various fields in Fujian and Fuzhou in recent years, greatly promoting the economic construction and social development of Fuzhou. He expressed gratitude to China Resources Group for its contribution. Fuzhou is currently pressing ahead with the construction of the Fuzhou New District, which has bright development prospects. He hoped that Fuzhou and China Resources Group could jointly press ahead with the development and construction of the Fuzhou New District and the Fuzhou section of the Fujian Free Trade Zone by leveraging the overall strengths of China Resources Group. The Fuzhou municipal Party committee and municipal government will fully support China Resources’ development in Fuzhou, help solve its practical problems and provide quality service guarantees.

Present at the meeting were Huang Zhongyong, member of the Standing Committee, executive vice-mayor and head of the United Front Work Department of Fuzhou; Xue Kan, member of the Standing Committee and secretary-general of Fuzhou; Hang Dong, vice mayor; people in charge of the Fuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, of the Fuzhou section of the Fujian Free Trade Zone and of relevant departments, districts and cities; China Resources Group Deputy General Manager Wang Chuandong, Assistant General Mnager Wu Xiangdong, and heads of the Group's board office and China Resources Land, China Resources Cement, China Resources Gas and China Resources Vanguard.
