On 3 December, the “Hong Kong Green Awards 2015” ceremony organized by the Hong Kong Green Building Council was held in Hong Kong. CR received the “Green Management Award – Gold Award”, “Environmental, Health and Safety Award – Gold Award”, and “Corporate Green Governance Award – Environmental Monitoring and Reporting Award”, and was awarded for its “Outstanding Sustained Performance (5 years+)”.

This was the fifth year that CR participated in the contest, and it was the fifth time it received the “Green Management Award – Gold Award”. CR Power and its subsidiaries, Shouyangshan Power Plant, Guangzhou Thermal Power Plant, and Honghe Hydropower Plant, CR Property, and CR Cement (Tianyang) Co., Ltd. have also received a total of nine awards including the “Corporate Green Governance Award – Management System Award”. CR has won the most awards in this contest.

The “Hong Kong Green Awards” is one of the activities under the public welfare series organized by the Hong Kong Green Building Council. Since 2010, it has been held once a year, with the objective of commending enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to environmental protection issues.
