On 8 September, Taiwan Cement (TCC) Chairman, Leslie Koo Cheng-Yun visited CR. Group Chairman Fu Yuning received Chairman Leslie Koo and his delegation at the China Resources Building in Hong Kong.

Chairman Fu Yuning started off by welcoming Chairman Koo and his delegation. He pointed out that CR Cement and TCC are strong enterprises in China’s cement industry, and are responsible and capable of promoting industry consolidation. CR Cement and TCC have always maintained good partnerships in the Guangdong and Guangxi region, and Chairman Fu hopes that the two companies will further broaden the scope of collaboration. By “competing on services, competing on efficiency”, he hopes the two companies will promote healthy competition, regional synergies, and mutual development, and facilitate sustainable development of China’s cement industry through technical innovation and product innovation.

Chairman Koo Cheng-Yun then briefed the audience on the process of industry centralization, consolidation, and transformation in Taiwan’s cement industry. Chairman Koo indicated that, currently, China’s cement industry is going through industry consolidation and transformation, and that CR Cement is an excellent cement enterprise. Both parties have maintained a good interactive relationship, and he hopes that the two companies will go “heart-to-heart and hand-in-hand”, developing synergies and working together in more areas in the future.

Group Assistant General Manager and Chairman of CR Cement’s Board of Directors, Zhou Longshan, and other relevant persons in charge from CR Cement also joined the meeting.
