President Qiao Shibo met with Li Zaiyong, visiting Secretary of Guizhou's Liupanshui, and his delegation on the morning of June 15. The two sides held friendly talks about accelerating the construction of Liuzhi Power Plant and expanding investment cooperation.

President Qiao welcomed Secretary Li and thanked the Liupanshui CPC Committee and municipal government for their assistance and support to CR's local projects. Describing Liupanshui as CR's key development area in Guizhou, he urged the two sides to maintain close communication, combine Liupanshui's resource advantages with CR's business development strategy, and diligently study and advance broader cooperation in various fields, so as to contribute to the city's economic and social development.

Secretary Li noted that the Liuzhi Power Plant project has progressed smoothly since CR Power and Liupanshui signed the CR (Liupanshui) Circular Economy Industrial Park Investment Contract in May 2013. He urged the two sides to increase investment and accelerate project construction with the aim for the early operation of the power plant. He vowed that the Liupanshui CPC Committee and municipal government will fully support the project as always and hoped the two sides can expand investment cooperation in such fields as beer and big health pharmaceuticals.

Deputy Mayor of Liupanshui Fu Zhaoxiang, leaders from Liuzhi Special Area and relevant municipal departments, as well as CR Deputy Managing Director Zhou Junqing and heads of CR Directors’ Office, CR Power, CR Sanjiu and CR Healthcare were present at the meeting.
