Chairman Fu Yuning led a delegation to visit Henan on June 8 to 9. He and President Qiao Shibo met with Secretary of Henan CPC Committee Guo Gengmao, Governor Xie Fuzhan and other leaders in Zhengzhou on the morning of June 9, and the two sides held friendly discussions about strengthening their cooperation.

On behalf of Henan CPC Committee and the provincial government, Secretary Guo expressed his gratitude to CR for its close attention to the province and great contributions to its economic and social development through local investment cooperation. He hoped CR would take Henan as an important market and partner and strengthen its cooperation with and development in the province. Secretary Guo noted that agricultural production conditions are seeing tremendous changes today, agriculture is operated on a certain scale, and new-type market entities including agricultural cooperatives and professional farmers have appeared, creating the conditions for professional, large-scale and industrialized agriculture. This is the right time for commercial capital to enter agriculture, especially since Henan's agriculture has international competitive advantages in certain aspects, indicating large room for development. He introduced that industries such as medical care and old-age care, which are strongly promoted by the Henan CPC Committee and provincial government, also have great potential. He urged the two sides to work together in a number of fields, come up with feasible plans and actively push the cooperation. He vowed that Henan CPC Committee and provincial government will fully support and serve CR's development in the province as always.

Chairman Fu introduced CR's investment and development in Henan and cooperation projects that are being planned or promoted in various business sectors. He noted that thanks to the strong support of Henan CPC Committee and provincial government, CR's businesses in Henan have developed soundly. As CR's industries are highly aligned with Henan's economic transformation and development, he hoped the two sides can deepen cooperation in such fields as modern agriculture, new energy, medical care and consumer goods, and work hard for greater achievements, so as to realize mutual benefits and win-win development and benefit the Henan people.

Li Wenhui, member of Henan CPC Standing Committee and Secretary General of Henan CPC Committee, Vice Governor Zhao Jiancai, Zhengzhou Mayor Ma Yi and leaders from Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Industry & Information Technology Commission, Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Commerce Department, Health & Family Planning Commission, Food & Drug Administration and other departments, as well as CR leaders Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhu Jinkun, Wang Chuncheng, and heads of CR Directors’ Office, CR Power, CR Land and CR Gas were present at the meeting.

In Zhengzhou, CR leaders inspected CR MIXC, Zhengzhou CR Gas, CR Henan Pharmaceutical, CR Vanguard, Snow Breweries and other enterprises respectively. They also held talks with CR employees and learnt about business development in Henan.
