The CRC Ways No.7 commencement was held at CR University's Baiyangdian campus on May 28. CR Chairman and President of CR University Fu Yuning attended the commencement and gave a lecture. CR leader Du Wenmin, Wei Bin, Zhu Jinkun, Zhou Junqing, Wang Chuncheng and Chen Yin, as well as heads of SBU institutes, HR, training and the executive headmaster of the No.7 training class participated in the commencement. The finals of CR University's second innovation contest were held before the commencement.
At the beginning of his lecture titled Talent Is the Future of Enterprises, Chairman Fu watched with all graduates a video about how CR Power's Wujianfang project team achieved breakthroughs by overcoming extreme difficulties. He pointed out that all CR's business sectors need the "Wujianfang spirit" both to adapt to the external environment for development and to improve the company's internal strength. All CR employees must work hard with tenacity and faith, be practical, innovative and responsible, and always keep the big picture in mind, so as to embrace challenges, surmount difficulties and achieve success. Chairman Fu stressed that talent is the No.1 productive force and the key to success for enterprises.
He noted that a great enterprise should care about its employees and be able to lead them with a grand vision, attract them with a great career, and keep them with excellent corporate culture. It should ensure their legal rights and interests and create conditions to inspire and protect their pioneering spirit. CR should uphold the notion of "people first, care for employees", especially reflect the value of fighters in corporate accomplishments, and urge its employees to be fighters instead of commonplace workers.
Chairman Fu demanded managers at all levels to sincerely care for employees, protect their legal rights and interests, care about what they are thinking, help their career development and create a favorable working atmosphere. To bring tangible benefits for employees, managers should have vision, make scientific and prudent investment decisions, comply with the law and regulations in operation and management, and push the enterprise to be more innovative in business model and more efficient, in the joint endeavor to maximize values for shareholders and employees alike. After the lecture, Chairman Fu held talks with members of the No.7 training class and asked them to hold on to their dreams and make unremitting efforts for CR's greater success.
Chairman Fu fully affirmed the second innovation contest of CR University, saying that innovation is critical for an enterprise to remain vigorous and competitive. He noted that CR and its profit centers should improve the system and institution for innovation, grant necessary support for original business ideas, and realize innovations with greater commercial values on a larger scale, so as to push the development of CR's existing industries and the exploration of emerging ones.
At the commencement, Chairman Fu conferred diplomas to the 119 students in the CRC Ways No.7 training class. CR Health Institute, CR Cement Institute and CR Vanguard Institute ranked top three as excellent institutes. "From Selling Caloric Value to Offering Value" and "Fashion up Beer" won first and second prize in the innovation contest, and "Building the @CR Life Eco-circle", "Asset-light Business Model for Thermal Power Plants under New Normal" and "An Exploration of Internet-based Shopping Center Operation Model" won the third prize.
