Chairman Fu Yuning and President Qiao Shibo met with the visiting Hunan Governor Du Jiahao, Vice Governor Zhang Jianfei and their delegation at CR Headquarters in Hong Kong on the morning of June 2. The two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on strengthening their cooperation in a number of fields, and jointly witnessed the signing of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation between Hunan People's Government and CR.

Chairman Fu welcomed Governor Du and thanked Hunan Province for its consistent support to CR's local business development. He noted that CR is engaged in a wide range of business fields and a large number of investment projects in Hunan, and all business sectors plan to expand their scale in the province. He hoped the two sides can strengthen communication and further broaden and expand their cooperation.

Governor Du expressed his gratitude to CR for its investment in Hunan and contributions to local economic and social development. He noted that as Hunan is transforming its industrial structure, its infrastructure is continuously improved, geological advantages become more obvious, economy is growing well in general and there will be larger space for future development. He vowed that Hunan will actively create a favorable business environment and urged CR to give better play to its strengths, so as to find more opportunities for closer cooperation.

During the meeting, CR leaders introduced the development of such businesses as consumer goods, gas, power, pharmaceuticals and medical care, talked about the construction of CR Hope Town in Shaoshan, and exchanged views with Hunan leaders on deepening their cooperation. After the meeting, the two sides held a signing ceremony, at which the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation between Hunan People's Government and CR and the Agreement on Project Investment and Cooperation between Shaoyang People's Government and CR were signed. Leaders from Hunan Province and CR jointly witnessed the signing.

Secretary General of Hunan government Xiang Lili, Deputy Secretary General Guo Zhenggui and leaders from relevant department and cities, as well as CR leaders Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhu Jinkun, Zhou Junqing and Wang Chuncheng, and heads of CR Directors’ Office, CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceutical, CR Vanguard, CR Snow Breweries, C'est bon and CR Healthcare participated in relevant activities.
