Chairman Fu Yuning and President Qiao Shibo visited Tang Jun, member of Liaoning CPC Standing Committee and Secretary of Dalian CPC Committee, and Dalian Mayor Xiao Shengfeng in Dalian on the afternoon of May 30. The two sides held in-depth exchanges and reached consensuses on accelerating and deepening their cooperation in multiple industries.

Secretary Tang noted that Dalian is in a critical stage of rejuvenation, and the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries indicates long-term development potential despite the heavy pressure from economic downturn. At present, Dalian is actively applying for the China-ROK FTZ, which presents favorable conditions and rare opportunities for social and economic development. He said that CR's diversified businesses will have plenty of opportunities in Dalian, and hoped CR can develop large comprehensive business projects in the city, so as to broaden and deepen their cooperation.

Chairman Fu hailed the sound cooperation foundation between CR and Dalian, and noted that the Dalian FTZ that is likely to be approved will provide opportunities for modern service industry, including high-end export and goods exhibition and sales. CR will give full play to its advantages in diversification and internationalization, make explorations and plans in multiple fields, and implement its key and new projects in an orderly manner. It will carry out more substantial cooperation with Dalian in such aspects as consumer goods, city gas, comprehensive real estate, healthcare and energy, with the aim for win-win development.

Vice Mayor of Dalian Zhang Yadong, Secretary General Luo Dongsheng and leaders from the General Office of Dalian CPC Committee, Dalian Urban & Rural Construction Committee, Health and Family Planning Commission and the Administrative Committee of Puwan New District, as well as CR Deputy Managing Director Zhu Jinkun and heads of profit centers including CR Gas, CR Land, CR Vanguard and CR Healthcare were present at the meeting.
