President Qiao Shibo and Vice Chairman Wang Yin met with the visiting Jiangxi Governor Lu Xinshe, Vice Governor Hu Youtao and their delegation at CR Headquarters in Hong Kong on the afternoon of May 28.

President Qiao welcomed Governor Lu and his delegation. He noted that CR and Jiangxi have had a long history of cooperation, and maintained a long partnership in ensuring the supply of fresh and frozen food for Hong Kong. CR's businesses have entered Jiangxi one after another in recent years and the company has kept expanding investment there with great success. He thanked the province for aiding CR's local investment and development, and hoped that under the support of Jiangxi CPC Committee and government, the two sides can continue to strengthen cooperation in various fields.

Governor Lu was glad to visit CR when he was in Hong Kong for the Jiangxi-Hong Kong cooperation and exchange event, citing that the traditional cooperation fields between Jiangxi and CR have been consolidated and developed, and cooperation in new fields that leaders of both sides have agreed on in recent years has been promoted with primary progress. At present, Jiangxi is faced with a number of favorable national strategies. What with the improvement of its geological position and traffic and with its advantages as a later comer and in resource and ecology, Jiangxi is looking at great prospects and potential. It is working hard to establish four "name cards of industrial development", namely industrial cluster, green and ecological food, eco-tourism and commercial logistics, all of which are consistent with CR's business scope, development direction and strengths. He hoped the two sides can intensify all-round cooperation, and vowed that the provincial government will actively create a favorable business environment to fully support CR's cooperation and development in Jiangxi.

Secretary General of Jiangxi government Zhang Yong and leaders from relevant provincial departments and cities, as well as heads of CR Directors’ Office and profits centers including CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceutical, CR Vanguard, CR Ng Fung, C'est bon and CR Healthcare were present at the meeting.

Jiangxi Province held the "Jiangxi Key Industrial Cluster Investment & Cooperation Promotion" at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on the morning of May 28. CR Deputy Managing Director Wang Chuandong attended the event on behalf of the company, and CR Gas and CR Vanguard respectively signed the cooperation agreements with their Jiangxi partners at the event.
