Chairman Fu Yuning and President Qiao Shibo met with Yunnan Governor Chen Hao and his delegation on the afternoon of May 18. The two sides reviewed their investment cooperation in recent years, discussed how to promote current key projects, and reached consensus on strengthening comprehensive strategic cooperation in the future.

Chairman Fu welcomed Governor Chen and expressed his gratitude to Yunnan municipal government and its cities and prefectures for their strong support to CR's local businesses. He noted that CR has landed several cooperation projects in Yunnan, its business units are all in close cooperation with Yunnan Province and many new projects have been planned. He hoped the two sides can strengthen their investment cooperation in all fields to further expand CR's business scale in the southern province.

On behalf of Yunnan CPC Committee and municipal government, Governor Chen thanked CR for its support to the province's economic and social development. He noted that the two sides are looking at vast cooperation space in a number of fields, and hoped they can establish a comprehensive strategic partnership. He urged CR to exert its advantages in overall capabilities and industrial diversification, and welcomed and strongly supported it to take an active part in Yunnan's livelihood development and urbanization drive, so as to promote the province's economic transformation and industrial upgrading through win-win cooperation.

After the meeting, the two sides held a signing ceremony for a string of cooperation projects in such fields as medical care, new energy, gas and cement, which were signed between CR Healthcare and Dali Prefecture government, CR Power, CR Gas and Yunnan Energy Investment Group, and CR Cement and Kunming Iron & Steel Holding respectively. Governor Chen Hao, Chairman Fu Yuning and other leaders jointly witnessed the signing.

Secretary General of Yunnan provincial government Li Yifei, Deputy Secretary General Li Jiming, leaders of relevant provincial departments, cities and prefectures and heads of provincial enterprises, as well as CR executives Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhou Junqing, Zhou Longshan and heads of relevant business units were present at the meeting and the signing ceremony.

On the afternoon, the Yunnan delegation held the "2015 Yunnan-Hong Kong Industrial Cooperation & China-South Asia Expo Promotion Event" at Harbour Grand Hong Kong. Vice Chairman Wang Yin was invited to attend the event.
