Chairman Fu Yuning and President Qiao Shibo visited Ma Xingrui, Deputy Secretary of Guangdong CPC Committee and Secretary of Shenzhen CPC Committee, and Deputy Secretary of Shenzhen CPC Committee and Mayor Xu Qin at Shenzhen Wuzhou Guest House on the afternoon of April 28. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening existing cooperation and innovating the future cooperative model, and reached extensive consensuses.

On behalf of Shenzhen CPC Committee and government, Secretary Ma expressed his gratitude to CR for its contributions to Shenzhen’s economic and social development over the years. He called CR an important supporter and participant in Shenzhen’s development over the past 30-plus years, and hoped that CR can firmly seize the new opportunities brought by the “One Belt One Road” initiative and the Guangdong FTZ. He urged CR to give full play to its advantages and take an active part in the construction of Shekou district in Qianhai to make greater contributions to Shenzhen’s transformation, upgrading, innovation and the development of headquarters economy. Shenzhen will create a better environment, set up better platforms and provide more efficient services to intensify its strategic cooperation with CR and support CR and other enterprises to take root in Shenzhen for greater achievements.

Chairman Fu introduced the overall cooperation between CR and Shenzhen and expressed his gratitude to Shenzhen CPC Committee and government for their consistent support over the years. He said that CR has set up management headquarters in Shenzhen for all its main businesses, developed a string of key projects that directly serve the consumers, including Shenzhen City Crossing, Shenzhen Bay Sports Center and Longgang Ng Fung Slaughterhouse, and fostered such well-known brands as MIXC, Vanguard, C’est bon and Sanjiu. It has also cooperated with state-owned enterprises in Shenzhen in many areas and played an active part in assisting Shenzhen in aiding Guizhou’s Bijie. Chairman Fu continued to note that CR and Shenzhen cooperate in a wide array of areas and have formed long-term friendly cooperative relationship, and CR’s businesses in Shenzhen have yielded favorable results with great momentum. There is vast room for the two sides to cooperate and develop in the future. As Shenzhen is the strategic base for CR’s business expansion, CR’s R&D center and other advantageous resources will gather here. Chairman Fu expressed his wish for the two sides to expand their cooperative scope, innovate the contents of business and raise the level of cooperation under the support of Shenzhen CPC Committee and government, so as to play a more active role in Shenzhen’s economic and social development in the new era.
