President Qiao Shibo inspected the construction of CR Hope Town in Wujiadian Township, Jinzhai County in Liuan of Anhui Province on the afternoon of April 25. Sun Yunfei, Secretary of Liuan CPC Committee and Director of Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, Pan Dongxu, Deputy Secretary of Liuan CPC Committee and Secretary of Jinzhai County CPC Committee, and other leaders joined the inspection.

President Qiao visited the sample civilian houses that had been renovated and delivered to villagers, the elementary school and comprehensive service center that are under construction, and aid projects such as renovated civilian houses and 1000 mu (one mu equals about 666.7m2) of Chinese gooseberry. He listened to the report on the overall construction of Hope Town by the project principal, and visited CR employees assigned there to participate in the construction. He affirmed the progress that had been made in the project and industrial aid, and urged all parties to overcome difficulties and complete the project with top quality.

At the home of local villager Xiong Guozhu, President Qiao held cordial talks with him, learnt about his family members, land transfer, source of income and other information, and asked for his opinions and suggestions regarding the construction of CR Hope Town in Jinzhai. Hearing that Xiong Guozhu was very satisfied with the improvement of living conditions, President Qiao asked employees in the local project team to make considerate plans and take quick steps to help improve the local environment, carry out industrial aid based on local conditions, and lead local farmers to increase income and become rich.

During the inspection, President Qiao held talks with Secretary of Liuan Sun Yunfei. He expressed his gratitude to all departments of Liuan for their strong support to the construction and development of CR Hope Town, and they exchanged views on how to intensify investment cooperation in new energy and other areas. President Qiao hoped that Liuan and CR will work together to carry forward the spirit of the old revolutionary area, enrich the connotations of green development, and make CR Hope Town beautiful, affluent and strong. Secretary Sun hoped the two sides can deepen the cooperation in existing projects and keep exploring new domain, and vowed that Liuan CPC Committee and government will continue to support CR and provide quality and efficient services for its project and corporate development in Liuan.
