President Qiao Shibo Visits Harbin Secretary Chen Haibo

President Qiao Shibo visited Chen Haibo, member of Heilongjiang CPC Standing Committee and Secretary of Harbin CPC Committee, and other leaders in Harbin on April 2. The two sides held discussions on further expanding the cooperation between CR and Harbin.

Secretary Chen expressed his gratitude to CR for its active contributions to Harbin’s economic and social development. He noted that under the sustained downward pressure on economy, effective investment remains the key to driving Harbin’s economic growth. Harbin insists on adjusting the structure through growth and promoting upgrade with innovation, and has adjusted the increment to transform the economic growth model and adjust the structure while boosting the economic volume. He hoped CR will continue to exert its advantages as an SOE, increase its investment in Harbin and carry out in-depth cooperation with the city in more areas. The Harbin CPC Committee and government will provide full support to CR’s projects with the aim for mutual benefits and win-win development.

President Qiao briefly introduced CR’s recent business development and its investment in Heilongjiang. He noted that CR has continuously expanded the investment cooperation with Heilongjiang in recent years, and its projects in Harbin involve a range of areas including beer, gas, real estate and pharmaceutical. He thanked Harbin for its strong support and said CR will work harder to push the projects and actively blaze out new areas and cooperative projects with the aim for mutual development.

Jiang Guowen, Deputy Secretary of Harbin CPC Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee, Shi Jiaxing, member of Harbin CPC Standing Committee and Secretary General of Harbin CPC Committee, Deputy Mayor Zhang Xianyou, and leaders from Harbin Health and Family Planning Committee and Investment Promotion Bureau, as well as heads of CR Directors’ Office and profit centers including CR Land, CR Gas and CR Healthcare were present at the meeting.
