The Guizhou Great Health Pharmaceutical Industry Promotion Event was held on the morning of March 2, 2015 by the Guizhou government at the China National Convention Center. More than 700 people attended the promotion event, including the NPC Vice Chairman Chen Zhu, CPPCC Vice Chairman Wang Qinmin, leaders from various ministries and central committees, heads of prestigious colleges, research institutes, industrial associations and enterprises, academicians and well-known experts, as well as staff from foreign embassies and consulates in China. Chairman Fu Yuning was invited to give a speech at the event. CR’s assistant President Wang Chuncheng, chief strategist Chen Ying, and heads of CR Directors’ Office, CR Pharmaceutical, CR Healthcare and DEEJ all participated in the event. CR Healthcare and the Anshun municipal government signed the “Strategic Agreement on Medical Cooperation” at the Project Signing Ceremony after the event.

It is introduced that as one of the four biggest producing areas of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in China, Guizhou has great potential in a series of major sectors, including proprietary TCM, biopharmaceuticals, chemical preparations, medical equipment, general healthcare materials, TCM planting, new medicine and great health industry. The Guizhou government develops the “great health pharmaceutical industry” as another priority after the “big data industry”, and has made great efforts to cultivate it into a new economic growth point of the province. Guizhou has issued a series of plans and measures to achieve that goal, such as the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Development of New Pharmaceutical Industry” and the “Development Plan of Guizhou Province for New Pharmaceutical Industry”.
