China Business 2014 Annual Meeting on Enterprise Competitiveness and the public transparency award ceremony for the top 200 Chinese enterprises was held on December 21 in Beijing. CR was the winner of the “Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report Award”, the top prize of the meeting.

The China Business Annual Meeting on Enterprise Competitiveness is a high-level meeting in social responsibility management. It is the second time the event has been held. Under the theme of improving the enterprise’s sustainable competitiveness, the meeting aimed to promote the innovation of sustainable development theory and practice. More than 100 representatives from all walks of life attended the ceremony. CR was one of the five enterprises that won the Best CSR Report Award, following its winning of the Best Community Relations Award last year.

This award is based on research of the public transparency of the top 200 Chinese enterprises, evaluating the content, transparency, design, presentation, balance, comparability and readability of the CSR report.

The winners are scored by experts several times and selected by strict criteria. It is the highest recognition of an enterprise’s public transparency and the quality of its CSR report.
