On December 8, General Manager Qiao Shibo paid a research visit to Huaibei, Anhui.

During the visit, Qiao met and talked with Xiao Chaoying, CPC Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of the city, and Huang Xiaowu, Deputy CPC Secretary and Mayor of the city.

During the talk, Xiao mentioned that CR has made significant contribution to the social and economic development of Huaibei through its operations in beer, gas, retail and pharmaceutical industries. At present, Huaibei is on a key restructuring, transformation and upgrading stage and it will be of material significances for the city to promote the strategic cooperation with CR and make the best use of CR’s advantages in terms of funds, management and technology. The city wishes to further enhance its communication with CR, jointly attack problems in the development of enterprises in Huaibei, further promote the cooperation on projects under way and continue to expand the scope of strategic cooperation between the two parties. Qiao said that Huaibei enjoys a good foundation and great potentials for future development and the CR is confident of the development of the city. He also represented that CR will better exert its advantages as a central enterprise, actively integrate with the city's strategy for development, continue increasing the scale of its investment in the city, quicken the implementation of CR projects in the city and optimize its industrial layouts, with the view of making greater contribution to the development of a refined Huaibei.

During his stay in Huaibei, Qiao inspected Jinchan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CR Sanjiu and enterprises of CR Snow Beer and CR Gas in the city as well as the site for the comprehensive treatment of the Nanhu Mining Subsidence Area, the Municipal Vocational Education Park and the General Miners’ Hospital of Huaibei. Accompanying Qiao on the research visit were heads of CR Sanjiu, CR Medical, CR Power, CR Beer and CR Gas.
