On the morning of December 3, Chairman Fu Yuning and General Manager Qiao Shibo and their party met with Guo Jinlong, a Politburo member of CPC and CPC Secretary and Deputy Secretary and Mayor Wang Anshun of Beijing. The two parties had a conference on further cooperation on the promotion of technological innovation and the enhancement of the urban management.

Chairman Fu first presented the business development of CR profit centers in Beijing in the fields of power, real estate, pharmaceuticals, retail, beer, medical services and microelectronics. He expressed that CR is currently actively participating in the renewal of the old buildings and the development of new urban areas. CR cooperates with Beijing in a large range of fields with huge investment scales. He expressed his thanks for the substantial support the CPC Committee and government of Beijing have provided for the development of CR businesses, especially the pharmaceutical business, in Beijing. He hoped that as Beijing enjoys huge potentials of development, the two parties can actively explore how to raise the level of cooperation in the fields where the two parties are already cooperating, increase their efforts in cooperating in the fields of the reform of state-owned enterprises and medical services, with the hope of promoting CR's businesses in Beijing and contributing to the scientific development of the city.

Guo expressed his appreciation of Chairman Fu’s visit to Beijing and the long-term support the city has received from CR in their wide range of in-depth cooperation. According to Guo, Beijing is currently actively implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Beijing, earnestly implementing the strategic positioning of the capital city, adjusting and diluting its non-capital core functions and promoting the construction and management of the city. The central government has defined the new status of Beijing as a national scientific and technological center. He hoped that CR will further promoting its cooperation with Beijing in the fields of biomedicine, medical and health services and microelectronics by exerting its advantages in brands, talents an technical innovation, with the view of helping Beijing establish the top section of its economy. As Beijing is focusing its efforts on the improvement of urban environment and ecological environment and actively promoting the reformation of the suburban areas and old living quarters in downtown areas, it is hoped that relevant sectors of CR will actively participate in the improvement of the urban infrastructure and the modern urban governance competence of the city. He represented that Beijing will actively cooperate and provide a sound environment for CR's development in the city.

Also present at the meeting were representatives of Beijing, including Zhang Gong (Vice Mayor), Cui Shuqiang (Deputy Secretary General and Director of the General Office of the Municipal CPC Committee), Yan Liqiang (Deputy Secretary General and Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal CPC Committee), Lin Fusheng (Director of the Municipal SASAC), Zhou Weimin (Director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau), Yan Xiaoyan (Deputy Director of the Municipal Commission of Commerce) and Yin Rongyan (General Manager of Beijing State-owned Capital management Center), as well as representatives of the Group, including, Deputy General Manager Chen Lang, Assistant General Manager Wang Chuncheng, Directors’ office and heads of CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceuticals, CR Vanguard, CR Beer, CR Medical and CR Microelectronics.

During their stay in Beijing, Chairman Fu and his party also inspected Oak Bay and Rainbow City Shopping Center of CR.
