On the afternoon of November 17, Chairman Fu Yuning and General Manager Qiao Shibo met with CPC Secretary Zhao Kezhi and Deputy CPC Secretary and Governor of Guizhou Province Chen Min’er in Guiyang, and the two parties had a conference on further promotion of cooperation between the two parties and reached agreement on a wide range of cooperation and development issues.

Zhao and Chen expressed their appreciation of Chairman Fu’s visit to the province on behalf of the CPC Committee and government of the province. According to Zhao and Chen, with the substantial support of central government, Guizhou has seen major breakthrough development in transportation and other infrastructure facilities and is now, starting from as a late-coming player, striving to facilitate the development of a comprehensively well-off society. Guizhou has been diligently acting on the important instructions of the central leadership for the work in Guizhou. Focusing on the development and ecology, the provincial government places in the priority the development of environment-friendly and ecology-friendly industries while promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. They expressed their hope that CR will further expand and deepen its long-term comprehensive strategic cooperation, and, while promoting projects already under way, quicken the development of Bijie Circular Economy Industrial Park and actively participate in the development of the new medicine industry for the health of the general population. They also undertook that Guizhou will continue to provide a favorable investment environment and better serve all types of investors, including CR.

Chairman Fu briefed the investment and development of CR's businesses. Chairman Fu pointed out that CR has been concerned with the development of Guizhou in recent years. CR has not been present in Guizhou for a long time but the two parties have attained great achievements in interaction and communication. CR and Guizhou are cooperating in a large range of fields, with sound economic results. He expressed his sincere appreciation of the substantial support of the CPC Committee and government of Guizhou Province. Guizhou has attained inspiring achievements in social and economic development with dramatic changes in urban and rural areas. CR will further increase its investment in Guizhou, expanding the scope of investment and cooperation, actively participating in the development of medicine and health industry, with the view of contributing to the social and economic development of the province.

Also present at the meeting were representatives of the province, including Chen Yiqin (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Executive Deputy Governor), Chen Gang (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Mayor of Guiyang City), Tang Dezhi (Secretary-General of the provincial government), and heads of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Economic and IT Commission, the Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau and leaders of Bijie City, and leaders of the Group, including Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhu Jinkun and Zhou Junqing, as well as heads of the Directors' Office, CR Power, CR Land, CR Cement, CR Gas, CR Vanguard, and Snow Beer.

Before the conference, CR and the provincial government held a strategic cooperation forum, chaired by the Chen Yiqin and attended by Chairman Fu, General Manager Qiao, heads of relevant business sectors of the Group and CR enterprises in Guizhou, heads of relevant departments of the provincial government and cities. The two parties further discussed issues existing in investment and cooperation projects in various fields and established the focuses of future work.
