Zhang first expressed his appreciation for the care and support CR has provided for the development of the province. He said that CR has been actively participating in the reform and development of the province for many years and the two parties have developed a healthy strategic cooperative relationship. In particular, since the execution of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement, the two parties have cooperated and supported each other in a large number of fields, including energy, medicine and urban development, and the two parties have laid a solid foundation for mutual support and mutual benefits, substantially promoted the social and economic development of the province. In the first half of this year, the economy of the province maintained the tendency of rapid and robust development. The choices of CR for its investment in Anhui are in harmony with the adjustment of the economic structure of the province. Anhui Province is willing to furthering the cooperation and hopes that the two parties will enhance their cooperation at a higher level and in a broader range of fields. The CPC Committee and the government of the province will continue to provide the best services and create a favourable environment to promote the mutual benefits and development. Wang mentioned that the two parties have cooperated in a pleasant manner since the execution of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement in last April and hoped that the two parties will promote their investment cooperation and facilitate the key cooperation projects on a continuous basis.

According to Chairman Fu, CR has received substantial support from the CPC Committee and government of Anhui Province for the development of its businesses in the province. In particular, the investment cooperation between CR and Anhui has been further facilitated since Zhang's visit to Hong Kong and the execution of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement in 2010, with all businesses of CR maintaining healthy development tendency. Anhui Province has a solid foundation and great potentials for development. CR is confident of the development of the province. CR is engaged in industries in agreement with the characteristics of the economic development of the province at present and all CR business units are interested in facilitating their development in the province. CR will better exert its advantages as a central enterprise, actively integrate with the development strategy of the province, continue to increase the scale of their development in Anhui, facilitate the promotion of their investment projects and optimize the industrial layout, so as to make greater contribution to the development of a better Anhui and the building of a moderately prosperous society.

Also present at the meeting were representatives of the province, including Zhan Xialai (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Executive Deputy Governor), Tang Chengpei (member of the Standing CPC Committee and Secretary-General of the provincial CPC committee), Shao Guohe (Secretary-General of the provincial government), leaders from municipal Development and Reform Commission and Department of Commerce of the Province, and leaders of the Group, including Chen Lang, Wang Chuandong, Zhu Jinkun and Wang Chuncheng, as well as heads of the Directors' Office, CR Power, CR Land, CR Gas, CR Pharmaceutical, CR Retail and CR Beer.
