After an earthquake struck Ludian County, Yunnan Province at 16:30, August 3, the Group made immediate response and decided to donate CNY 5 million to support the relief and the construction of the affected area through China Resources Charity Foundation.
So far, the Group has directed CR Beverage, one of its subsidiaries, to send 2,400 boxes of bottled C’estbon Pure Water to the affected area, with the first 1,000 box delivered to the affected on August 4 and the rest 1,400 dispatched from Kunming on August 5.
Following its business notion of “performing social responsibilities and be excellent corporate citizen”, CR Group has been actively rewarding society through the foundation, providing over CNY 100 million to support the construction of new rural settlements, disaster and poverty relief, education assistance and environment protection. Recognized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs as a 5A charity foundation, China Resources Charity Foundation has donated over CNY 410 million for public wellbeing.
